My friend Lisa Covington has been fighting Stage IV breast cancer for almost 10 years.  She now has spots on her brain and in her Pancreas.  Her wish is to meet Ellen Degeneres so we created a flashmob to get her name out there and hope that Ellen sees it!! Lisa is loving and caring and would move the earth if you needed something from her - no matter how sick she gets.  We believe she deserves this wish and hope that Ellen thinks she deserves it also!  If you see this video please share share share!  We want it to go Viral!

Chili cook-off*****

Marinated the meat for 24 hours - fried the meat - now cooking the chili slowly for 8 hours. I won last year. Hope I get a repeat!! I love Super bowl Sunday chili cook offs!!!! #brookschilibeans rock!!

Just a Training...............

Training for the Komen 3-day 60 day walk in Chicago in September.  Have to get my #NewBalance shoes to wear since they are a sponsor.  Never had an issue with New Balance just am not sure what kind to get.  Probably will go get a couple of pairs to see which ones work the best.  Any one have any ideas????
